Which clicks are actually at risk
Simple factual questions are the most likely to be answered on the page without a click. If your traffic depends on quick definitions or basic facts, that traffic is the most exposed to AI Overviews.
Higher intent and complex questions are different. When someone is comparing options, planning a project, or ready to hire, they still click through to dig deeper. That is also the traffic most likely to become a customer.
