Separate discovery from source selection
A system must first be able to access and understand a page before it can consider that page for a search response. Crawl rules, working links, stable status codes, readable content, and coherent site structure support discovery, but they do not guarantee that a system will select the page.
Some experiences retrieve current web documents, while others may answer from model knowledge, connected data, or a blend of sources. Businesses should use each provider official documentation instead of assuming that every assistant uses the same index or crawler.
