The goal was one case a week. The system signed 103.
BV Law wanted a marketing engine of their own. We built one that turned an unpredictable referral habit into caseload they can count on.

The situation before Bowrand
The demand was there. The system wasn't.
BV Law had a strong reputation and more demand than it was capturing. Most cases came through referrals, which made growth hard to predict, and the firm owned none of the machinery behind it.
Pipeline
Referral-dependent, not owned.
Demand
Came in waves, hard to plan.
Positioning
Strong reputation, thin online presence.
Search visibility
No authority on high-intent terms.
Conversion
Inquiries slipped before booking.
Sales feedback
Marketing not tied to signed cases.
Marketing wasn't connected to revenue, and growth leaned on sources the firm didn't control.
How we did it
Two channels, one owned pipeline.

First wins with Google Ads: qualified demand from day one
Paid search went live first. It started bringing in qualified criminal-defence leads right away, giving the firm demand it could count on while the slower SEO work took hold. Read the full paid ads case study.

Compounding with SEO and local SEO: from no authority to top 5
Ads buy attention; SEO earns it. Starting from no ranking at all, the site climbed to top 5 for the criminal-law searches that actually bring in cases. That visibility keeps working long after the ad budget stops. Read the full SEO case study.

Today: from two lawyers to seven, in seven months
Seven months in, BV Law has signed 103 cases and grown revenue 167%. One case a week stopped being the goal a long time ago.
What Bowrand built
Where the firm was, and where it is now.
Paid search and SEO turned referral luck into a pipeline the firm runs on.
| Area | Before | Now, with Bowrand |
|---|---|---|
| Pipeline | Referrals and chance | Owned and controlled |
| Lead flow | A handful of referrals, month to month | 80+ qualified leads a month |
| Paid search | None running | Qualified demand from day one |
| Search visibility | No authority on key terms | Top 5 on high-intent searches |
| Organic traffic | Minimal, flat | Growing month over month, no extra spend |
| The team | 2 lawyers | 7 lawyers |
| Marketing | An expense to recover | An asset that compounds |
Why it worked
Bowrand built an engine, not a campaign.
More ads were never the answer. BV Law needed a pipeline of their own. Paid search brought demand in fast, SEO made it stick, and we held both to signed cases rather than clicks. A practice that used to wait on referrals now runs its own growth.
We had quite bad luck with our previous marketing company and found Bowrand after some transition pains. Unlike the previous company, Bowrand is responsive, gives clear instructions and information on how to improve my business's page authority, and provides SEO services that are easy to understand (no mean feat).
