Google rankings for "cash for cars" in all three of its marketsClient overview
A trusted U.S. brand with no presence in Western Canada.
Established in 1987, Pick-n-Pull is one of North America's largest self-service auto parts stores and recyclers of end-of-life vehicles. Known for their vast inventory of parts from top manufacturers like Honda, Toyota, Ford and GMC, they also offer a popular "cash for cars" program that provides quick, convenient payouts for sellers. Beyond business, Pick-n-Pull takes pride in their environmentally responsible recycling practices, positioning themselves as a trusted community partner.
Although well established across the United States, Pick-n-Pull lacked visibility and brand recognition in Western Canada. They partnered with Bowrand to strengthen their presence in three key Western Canadian markets through a localized digital strategy, improved user experience and an optimized website that better showcased their fast, customer-friendly services.
The challenge
A big brand that local searchers couldn't find.
Limited regional visibility
Despite being a recognized brand in the U.S., Pick-n-Pull had minimal awareness and search presence in Western Canada.
Poor user experience
Their existing website lacked the streamlined navigation and clarity needed for quick customer interactions.
Unoptimized website
The site wasn't fully optimized for local SEO, making it difficult to rank for high-intent regional keywords.
Unclear service focus
The "cash for cars" program, a major value driver, wasn't effectively promoted or positioned on the site.
